The 2010 Survivor cast list is out for Survivor Nicaragua, and it is a big cast. The 2010 Survivor Nicaragua cast list was given out by CBS in anticipation of the new season of the show, revealing that this season will indeed have 20 cast-aways. Survivor Nicaragua will have two tribes, split up into 10 members each, determined by age. One of the tribes will have everyone 40-year-old and older, with the other tribes consisting mostly of 20-somethings. That will provide a very interesting dynamic to the 2010 season of Survivor, and possibly present a type of drama that we haven’t seen before. Will maturity win out? Or will youth take home the prize of $1 million this season?
The Survivor Nicaragua season premiere is Wednesday, September 15 at 8 p.m. on CBS. It’s important to note that the show has been moved to Wednesday night’s this year, so make sure to set those DVR’s to the correct night. The season premiere should be an interesting one, and it is one of the first shows that CBS is letting out of the stable in fall of 2010. CBS never fully explained why they were moving Survivor out of its familiar Thursday night airing, but they moved quite a few shows around in what looks like an attempt to compete with new shows on other networks. Hopefully this does not turn out to be a big mistake for CBS, because that could frustrate quite a few fans as the season begins.
