The 2010 Ohio State Fair concert schedule is shaping up with free shows in the mix.
The highlight of the 2010 Ohio State Fair show schedule will once again be Rascal Flatts, closing the Fair and Darius Rucker will headline his own show.
The 2010 edition of the Ohio State Fair will begin July 28 and end with the Rascal Flatts concert at the Columbus Crew Stadium on August 8, 2010. Regular fair admission of $10 for ages 13 through 50 is waived with the advance purchase of a concert ticket. The Ohio State Fair is held at the Ohio Expo Center at Exit 111 off of I-71 between 17th and 13th Avenues in Columbus, OH. Most concerts and shows will be held at the Celeste Center.

Ohio Lottery Cash Explosion Road Show: July 28, 2010
The Ohio Lottery will present two of its Road Shows on July 28: 2:30 PM and 7:00 PM. Both shows will be held at the Celeste Center.
All Ohio State Fair Band and Choir – August 1, 2010 at 1:00 PM
While there are many opportunities to see the All Ohio State Fair Band throughout the run of the Ohio State Fair, this is the only show held inside. As the mother of a former member of the All Ohio State Fair Band, I’ve seen many of their shows and it is well worth the trip. I double-dog dare you to not feel a lump in your throat as they break into “Stars and Stripes Forever”.
The Harry James Orchestra – August 3, 2010 at 1:00 PM
The sounds of swing will fill the Celeste Center at the Ohio Expo Center. Under the current leadership of Fred Radke, the Harry James Orchestra was founded in 1939 with lead singer Frank Sinatra.
Sandra Lee Semi-Homemade on Tour – August 7, 2010
The Sandra Lee Semi-Homemade Show will be offered two times on August 7 in the Celeste Center. The first show is at 1:00 PM and the other begins at 7:00 PM.
Sale of Champions Livestock Auction – August 8, 2010 at 2:00 PM
Watch the excitement as the youth exhibitors earn their college tuition as the Champion and Reserve Champion Livestock entries are auctioned. Many Central Ohio retailers purchase these animals, keeping it local.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at any Ticketmaster outlet. Service fees will apply.

Openers Motion City Soundtrack will lead off this double-bill with alt-rockers Weezer bringing hits like “Beverly Hills” to Columbus. Tickets are $36.

Kellie Pickler and Chris Young will open the show at Crew Stadium adjacent to the Ohio Expo Center. For the fifth time in six years, Rascal Flatts will close the Ohio State Fair and fill the east campus district sky with their country hits. Tickets are priced at $35, $60 and $75
