Labor Day may symbolize the end of the summer, but in New Jersey we refuse the let the season end without one last holiday harrah! Here are just some of the events happening in New Jersey for Labor Day Weekend 2010.
Labor Day New Jersey: Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Festival-Oceanport
This two day event will take place on September 5th and 6th at Monmouth Race Track off Route 36 in Oceanport. From noon to 8pm, enjoy three stages of simultaneous music and maybe even take in horse race or two. Racetrack admission is $3. For more information, click here.
Labor Day New Jersey: Sweet Soul and Rock and Roll Concert-Wildwood
Get ready for some ‘rock ‘n soul’ at the Wildwood Convention Center Oceanfront Arena on September 4th. Some of the headlining acts include the legendary Spinners and Temptations. For tickets, go to ticketmaster.com or call 1-800-745-3000.
Labor Day New Jersey: New Jersey Riverfest in Frenchtown
This annual event takes place September 4th and 5th from noon to 6pm along Bridge Street in historic downtown Frenchtown. Enjoy music, arts and crafts, wine tasting and more. You may even want to walk across the bridge into Pennsylvania!
Labor Day New Jersey: Scanfest Scandinavian Festival, Budd Lake
Celebrate Scandinavian culture at the 25th annual Scanfest at Vasa Park in Budd Lake on September 5th. Tickets are $14 for adults and children under 12 are free. In fact, if you volunteer to work at Scanfest or show up in traditional Scandinavian clothing, you’ll get in free too!
Labor Day New Jersey: Wine and Jazz Festival Allaire State Park
