How to Make Easy Coconut Cream Pie: If you love coconut cream pie then you will love to make this ease recipe! There are only four ingredients to buy plus the pie crust. It’s quick to make and will be a hit with your family!
Ingredients to make easy coconut cream pie:
8 ounces cream cheese
small 8 ounce tub of whipped cream
1 teaspoon coconut extract
1 cup coconut flakes
1 ready-made graham pie crust
Step 1: Let the tub of whipped cream thaw completely at room temperature. Also let the cream cheese soften by leaving it at room temperature for at least an hour.
Step 2: Beat the whipped cream and the cream cheese in a bowl with an electric mixer on low speed. When it’s well mixed add the coconut extract and the coconut flakes. Beat for another 10 to 15 seconds just to mix in the coconut.
Step 3: Plop this mixture into a ready-made graham pie crust and put it in the refrigerator to chill. If you can’t wait for it to chill you can go ahead and eat it right away!
Tips: You can make this extra fancy and super tropical by adding some pineapple chunks on the top of the pie then sprinkling the pie with more coconut flakes. You can also use any flavor extract to make this pie. Try other flavors like banana and top with banana slices! Have fun with it.
How to Make Sugar Pie: If you have a sweet tooth that can’t be satisfied then you MUST try this pie! But watch out… the sugar rush will be intense! This is actually a great pie to bring to a gathering because it serves many. A sliver is all most people can handle!
Ingredients to make sugar pie:
1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust
3/4 cup light brown sugar
3 tablespoons cream or milk
1 tablespoon butter
Step 1: Mix the sugar and cream in a small bowl. You can use milk but cream makes it more rich. But don’t worry if you don’t want to spend on cream. You can opt to use milk to save money.
Step2: Put the mixture in the pie crust. I use the ready-made pie crusts that you can buy at the store. They are usually kept near the milk or butter.
Step3: Dot the pie with bits of butter. I suggest you use real butter and not margarine. But if all you have is margarine that’s fine. You can use it. Butter just gives it much more flavor.
Step4: Bake the pie at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Let it cool completely before cutting and serving. You can top it off with whipped cream or serve with ice cream if you like. And get ready for the sugar rush!
