Fort Wilderness Campfire Sing-a-long
Enjoy a nightly sing-a-long with Chip and Dale. The campfire is free to guests but you must bring your own marshmallows and chocolates. Bring your blanket to watch the free Disney movie. It’s right after the sing-a-long.
Other fun things to do here include, hiking on one of the many nature trails, swimming, seeing the horses and more. You’ll be walking through a small forest. Dogs are allowed if on a leash. For a fee you can rent a canoe, golf cart, bicycles or a kayak.

You don’t need a park admission ticket to ride the transportation, catch a boat or ride on the monorail. These are fun and free!

As you stroll through the pedestrian only streets in Downtown Disney you’ll see the massive Lego version of Nessie the Loch Ness monster. Just be careful that the enormous T-Rex dinosaur doesn’t nip you first. It’s made from Legos too. Stop into the Lego store to view all of the displays.

After visiting Nessie, keep strolling along until you arrive at the Magic Shop. Watch for sleight of hand as a musician demonstrates magic tricks. Prepare to be amazed.

Don’t forget to stop by the Ghiradelli Chocolate Shop in Downtown Disney. When we visited they were giving away free samples. No purchase was required. This may be one of the tastiest of the cheap or free things to do on vacation!

Photo-ops are everywhere in Downtown Disney. Stop under the giant mushroom at the Rain Forest Café, have your picture made with the magician, stand in front of the Cap’n Jack Marina or the Planet Hollywood sign.

One of the best kept secrets of Epcot is Cool Club by Coca Cola. Here you can sample products from around the globe. Some taste great. Others don’t. It’s really interesting to try the different types of flavors that are enjoyed by others. The free cups are about 3 ounces. It’s self-serve with unlimited refills. You can visit as often as you like when you are in the park.

Stroll through some of the shops. You won’t need an admission ticket to visit the shops at Downtown Disney, Boardwalk or outside of the Magic Kingdom entrance. For souvenirs ask staff to show you where the clearance section is or to steer you toward the marked down items.

Our vacation came to an end before we heard about Boardwalk. We were told to look for strolling jugglers, mimes and other such characters that keep visitors entertained. This is on the back side of Epcot.
