So here are my picks for the top ten places in Movie Locations in Paris that I would love to live on. I put links on some of them to show you the pictures.
Breathless is a french new wave film. The place that I think would be a perfect set is the 11 rue Campagne Première, where the characters Patricia and Michel spent their last night together. I chose this because it’s real apartments, and you can still see them today.

Bourne Identity is the next film and the place I chose was Avenue Kleber, Paris 8, Paris France is the location where Jason Bourne Aka David lived. It’s my favorite because I love Bourne Identity and it’s one of my favorite scenes in the movie. I’m not sure really about this place but according to imdb.com it is his apartment location.
Amelie is the next film, the location is Rue des Trois Freres, Montmartre, Paris. That is Amelie’s apartment. I liked it because this movie was magical and sweet. I loved her place and how it was decorated, it reminded me of somewhere I would love to live if I was in Paris.

Band of Outsiders (English name) another Goddard film, this location is Quai Fernand Saguet, Paris. The characters who lived here is Odile and her aunt. It’s my favorite location because it’s the part of the movie that is most important whand I like where it is located close to the water. Also because this spot, is a home, and not a set. Like most of these films I wrote, are all real homes not sets. It makes movies more interesting.
Interview with the Vampire, I know but I had to had to add this movie. The location is Paris Opéra, Place de l’Opéra the hotel that Louis and Claude lived at. It’s my favorite because well it’s a real an Opera house and I liked how they dressed it up in the movie, it felt like you were in the 1870s. But, sadly you can’t not live here but if I could I would.

A funny and Oscar winning film The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie, the location is 2 Rue de Franqueville, Paris. The character that lived here was Fernando Rey. I chose it because it’s a funny film and I think that since most of the filming was located here , that’s pretty cool.
The film is Alphaville and the location is the Hotel Sofitel Paris le Scribe, 1 rue Scribe, Paris, another hotel where you can visit. That is my main reason why it’s my favorite I can go there. It’s also a nice looking spot, it has a great history to it. Last but not least the character that lived there was Lemmy Caution.
Last Tango in Paris, not much to say besides the location I picked was rue de l’Alboni, Passy, Paris. The characters that lived here was Paul and Jeanne. I chose it because it’s a very passionate part of the film and this place is a landmark for any Marlon Brando lover in Europe. It’s also an apartment, so if you lucky and it’s not being used you could live there.

Charade is a great Alfred Hitchcock movie. The location is the hotel St Jacques, rue des Ecoles, Paris where the characters Reggie Lampert and Peter Joshua stayed. I liked it because it’s a beautiful place and it’s another place where you can stay at, it’s real. The interior and exterior is amazing too.

My last choice is Lift to the Scaffold and this film is located at boulevard de Grenelle, Paris. Just to note this film is also called Elevator to the Gallows and the character who lived here was Florence Carala. I liked it because it was a nice place but also had like a gothic feel to it. The film was like a mixture of noir and gothic overtones. So who couldn’t want to visit this place, I totally want to.
As you can noticed the places I picked are real not sets and I urge you if your interested in any of them please go to this website where I got most of my information from www.movies-locations.com.
